We Sold The Palm Locals
Hey Everyone!
As we approach The Palm Locals’ 5th anniversary next month, we want to share some exciting news. We want to start by thanking everyone who has helped and supported us on this journey, from professors, parents, and mentors, to customers and referrals. This business would never be where it is today without everyone who was there with us.
When we started this business in our dorm room, we never thought it would become what it is today. Here are a few fun facts about our time here: we have printed over 100,000 garments (some of which for Mr. Beast), 22 people have been on The Palm Locals team, we have acquired 2 companies, opened 3 franchises, and both of us have graduated college. If you had told us five years ago that this is where we would be today, we would not have believed you.
With all that history behind this company, it is bittersweet for us to announce that we have sold The Palm Locals. After much thought and consideration, we have decided to sell to Logan Schreiber, our amazing screen printing genius, who has been on The Palm Locals team for over 3 years and has been in screen printing for 7. Logan’s wife, Nicole “Nikki,” has been in hospitality management for over 20 years and is going to be taking over as operations manager.
As self-described “serial entrepreneurs,” we will both be continuing on the small business journey. Chris will be launching a new traveling embroidery business, Palm Beach Embroidery Club, which will launch in late summer of 2024 in Palm Beach and could also be popping up across the US. He will also continue to sell residential real estate and serve as an editor of The Scout Guide Wellington. Hogan will be launching his own private lending firm in Palm Beach County. More details to follow.
As for our team, they are remaining the same. We always said that if we did sell, we wanted it to go into the perfect hands. We could not think of better people to take over. Logan and Nikki, along with our current team members, will provide the same exact quality and customer service as we did, and they have learned from all of our mistakes as well. Logan is dedicated to the mission of The Palm Locals, and that is what truly makes us the most happy.
We truly could not have done it without the most supportive customer base. We appreciate all of the patience in our learning, growing, and short-comings. One thing we can say with complete confidence is that this has been the most fulfilling and rewarding experience of our lives. Being able to apply what we learned in Business School and actually doing it for ourselves is one of the coolest things we have done.
Thanks,
Christopher Pappas and Hogan McFadden
